Our Pastor

Who am I?

I was born in New York City on Manhattan Island and grew up in New Jersey. I still have an eastern accent. My parents were orthodox Jews and I was raised in a Jewish home and culture. I served two years in the Army as an infantry solider. While in college I read the New Testament out of curiosity and invited Jesus Christ into my life to be my Messiah after I read John 3:36.

I planned to be a high school history teacher and graduate from Montclair University with a Bachelor's Degree in social studies. Then onto Teachers College of Columbia for a Master of Arts in School Administration. When no teaching positions opened, I worked as a technical editor in Washington, D.C., New York and Long Island.

Later, the Lord Jesus Christ spoke to my heart and said "The Master has come and calleth for thee." This was my call to become a pastor. I graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity Degree. For ten years, I served as Pastor of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Glendora. I have been in the ministry for over 50 years.

In the year between my two pastorates I attended the California Graduate School of Theology, and focused on Evangelism. My dissertation topic was "Evangelism in Depth in Glendora." I was awarded a PhD.

My wife was a professor of Nursing at Pasadena City College. She is now at home in heaven with our Lord. If you want to know about my wife you can click here

Who am I? Pastor Alan Rosenberg, pastor of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in San Bernardino. The Church is my family. I have been the Pastor here for over 40 years.
